• Cost and quality of repairs guaranteed. Repairs are guaranteed for a minimum of 3 years.



• Commerce will deal directly with Preferred Repair Shops to expedite timely repairs and resolve any outstanding repair issues.



• No storage charges on repairable autos.



• All of our Preferred Repair Shops will honor a "Direction to Pay" even if payment has not reached the shop.



• No surprises! We will guarantee that work will be completed according to the appraisal.

The Commerce Insurance Company pays auto body shops at the prevailing labor rate, currently $35.00/hour.

Commerce will also guarantee repairs done by a Commerce Insurance Preferred Shop. You are not required to use a preferred shop. You may go to any shop on the list. However, Commerce are not responsible for any costs incurred, including a difference in labor rate, charged by a non-preferred shop.

If additional damage is discovered during the repairs, don't worry! Provided the damage discovered is related to the same accident, the appraiser will be contacted by the repairer. A copy of the supplemental appraisal will be provided to the shop and to your adjuster.
